PFGMI Joins the FGAPI Guangzhou Glass Technology Tour

In an effort to fulfill its objective of providing members with vital assistance, education and other services that could enhance productivity, competitiveness, and growth among its members and the industry, the Flat Glass Alliance of the Philippines Inc. (FGAPI) organized a group tour to Guangzhou, China to attend the China Guangzhou Glasstec Expo 2018. The trade fair was held at the China Import and Export Complex last August 22-24, 2018.

More than 40 FGAPI members attended the trade fair on its opening day. Participants from all over the Philippines joined FGAPI in this yearly activity aimed at educating their members and keeping them at par with latest technology in the flat glass industry.

Aside from attending the Trade Fair, FGAPI Members took a break from their hectic schedule to explore the colorful city of Guangzhou in China as they visited famous landmarks like the Canton Tower, Shamian Island and the Pearl River.

Heading the Philippine delegation are Mr. Ronilo C. Matas, FGAPI National President, Chapter Presidents Mr. Benigno G. Medina (CDO-Zamboanga), Ms. Teresa Co (Calabarzon) Mr. Rey Tantamco (Central Luzon) and Mr. Nelson Baccay (Cagayan Valley). Ms Carolina Go of Pioneer Float Glass Manufacturing Inc. (PFGMI) was also on hand to lead the delegation.
